If you're driving, and you need to stop or slow down for it, you may give construction a bit of an eye roll. However, lots of progress is being made.

At the start of fall, North Dakota Department of Transportation is reporting they have nearly two-thirds of 193 scheduled construction projects are finished. In recent years, the percentage of construction projects completed is roughly 45 to 55 percent. Typically 85 to 90 percent end up finished at year's end.

With millions of dollars of work already finished, North Dakota officials hope that weather will cooperate so that the remaining projects will get finished by the end of the year.

Rest assured when you're on the road, construction is getting done and making improvements.
