A Mayville, North Dakota man has been charged with felony terrorizing after he threatened to kill his 9-year old son if the boy didn't call the police regarding a drunken fight between the man and his wife over a game of Yahtzee.

According to the Grand Forks Herald, police were dispatched to the home of 40-year old Brian Cutshall at 2:34am on the morning of December 18th in response to a domestic abuse call from the man's 9-year old son.

When the officers arrived, Cutshall reeked of booze and, though he was slurring his speech, denied striking his wife. The officers then interviewed Cutshall's son, who informed them that he came downstairs to find his mother bleeding and on the floor. He also informed the officers that his father told him that if he didn't call 911, he would kill him.

Both Cutshall and his wife denied striking each other, though both showed visible trauma. After police interviewed all parties involved, the couple's 9-year old son was taken into protective custody.

Cutshall pleaded not guilty to a single count of felony terrorizing on Thursday, January 8th.
