If you happen to be a millennial living in North Dakota, it looks like you're in the right place.

According to MoneyRates.com, the state of North Dakota tops the list of states for where millennials need to be right now. The list was based on eight different criteria: unemployment, percentage of young adults in population, cost of in-state colleges, available and affordable rents, access to broadband, nightlife, and fitness.

The state has the third highest proportion of its civilian, non-institutional population between ages 20-24. It also has the lowest unemployment rate for that age range at 4.6% (in comparison, the average state is at 10.7%). Rental costs and college tuition are also less expensive than the average.

North Dakota also ranks among the top 10 states for access to high-speed broadband, and number of bars, pubs, and nightclubs per 1,000 young adults.

Rounding out the top five on the list behind North Dakota are South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Montana. The five worst on this list are Washington (state), Virginia, Arizona, California, and Vermont.

That being said, it's a great time to be young in North Dakota.
