North Dakota can add another accolade to the growing list of great things about the state because it has just been named the best state for young adults, by Money-Rates.com.

The folks at Money-Rates.com looked at factors like youth employment, demographics, college costs, rental availability, rental costs, high-speed internet availability, nightlife, and fitness facilities when putting together their list.

North Dakota landed the top spot for a myriad of reasons, including the lowest unemployment rate for people ages 20-24.

Here's what Money-Rates.com had to say about our great state:

It's not exactly a glamour spot, but North Dakota is attracting young people: It now has a higher proportion of people age 18-24 than any other state. Having the lowest youth unemployment rate helps, but what may surprise you is that North Dakota also has more bars, pubs and nightclubs per capita than any state besides Wisconsin.
