Due to the growing popularity of the North Dakota State football program, officials are discussing the possibility of adding seats to the FargoDome.

According to InForum, 100 seats could be added to the FargoDome as early as next season. Adding any more than that would involve structural changes to the venue, which would take more time.

Average attendance for Bison games has grown to around 19,000. With that growth also comes growth in food, beverage, and merchandise sales.

Right now, there is no real idea on how many seats could potentially be added.

Fargodome General Manager Rob Sobolik told InForum that they could add 5,000 to 7,000 more seats, but NDSU would really be the only organization to benefit from that.
