Governor Burgum is the first North Dakota Governor to live in the new residence and he's ready to show off the house to the people.

An open house will be Tuesday, October 16th from 2-7pm according to the Bismarck Tribune.

The staff will conduct tours of the new residence which will include several rooms in the home such as the formal space, kitchen and the multipurpose area.

The tours will last about 15 minutes and you can park on  Capitol loop. From there you'll be advised where to enter the residence accompanied by your tour guide.

The new 13,700-square-foot home features new furnishings and items brought in from the old residence.
