Paul McCartney: Beatle. Legend. Epic Saturday Night Live performer. The iconic singer delivered a killer performance of his hit "Maybe I'm Amazed" for the SNL 40th Anniversary Special tonight (Feb. 15).

When Paul McCartney sang "Will you still need me, will you still feed me / When I'm 64?" all those years ago, our answer is absolutely the same now that he's 72: Yes, yes and yes. Okay, while the likelihood that we'd actually be feeding Sir Paul McCartney anytime soon is pretty much nonexistent, his SNL performance is definitive proof that we'll need the legendary rocker pretty much till the end of time.

While some critics may have noticed that the iconic singer's vocals may not have been as powerful as they once were, we were busy being blown away by his musicianship. We were transfixed by the way the former Beatles frontman could still kill it on the piano and rock it with his backup musicians -- all totally live. Of course, his recent 2015 Grammys performance of "FourFiveSeconds" with Rihanna and Kanye West already proved that he could slay it on the guitar, but we love that his SNL number showed not only the passion that he pours into each performance, but the genuine talent that he embodies, no matter the instrument. You slay those keys, Sir Paul. You slay.
