Taking a page from every super heroes playbook, His Holiness dons the robes of a priest to sneak out of the Vatican at night to talk with the homeless.

The Huffington Post is reporting from "knowledgeable sources" that The Swiss Guard, the group responsible for protecting The Vatican and the Pope, have personally witnessed Pope Francis leaving the Vatican after nightfall dressed as a priest to "meet with homeless men and women."

The Pope's Almoner-in-Chief Konrad Krajewski, the man responsible for distributing Holy See money to the poor and indigent, is quoted in an interview as saying "When I say to him ‘I’m going out into the city this evening’, there’s the constant risk that he will come with me."

If this is all indeed true, this is nothing new for the Pontiff. In his mortal incarnation as Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, he would constantly be seen at night finding people to talk to, even buying them something to eat while they chatted.

It's always been said that leadership by example is the strongest way to lead, and Pope Francis is definitely a fine example to follow.
