Rihanna has filmed a new music video for her latest smash, 'Diamonds,' and photos from the set show the singer surrounded by apocalyptic flames.

The 24-year-old shot the video in Los Angeles on Sunday (Oct. 21) with director Anthony Mandler at the helm. "Heading to set #CCcertified," Rihanna wrote with a photo of herself. Later she tweeted another pic with a simple hashtag "#Diamonds" as the caption.

Mandler also took to Twitter to write about the shoot, simply saying: "We're like #Diamonds in the sky.."

While the treatment for the video is still under wraps, the photos from the set show the Barbadian beauty dressed in a slinky off-white gown in one shot, as well as a stylish black dress in another. In the background, Rihanna's surroundings seem to be destroyed and engulfed in flames.

'Diamonds' is the lead single from Rihanna's forthcoming LP, 'Unapologetic,' and the fastest-rising single of her career to date. In its first week, the song hit No. 1 on iTunes in 27 countries and charted in the Top 5 on iTunes in 55 countries.

Although there's no official release date for her 'Diamonds' video, fans can get excited for the release of RiRi's seventh studio album will on Nov. 19. She will also hit the road next March on her Diamonds World Tour to promote the album. Tickets are currently on sale now.
