Severe Thunder Storm Watch for the Area

The National Weather Service has issued SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH for Burleigh, Morton, Emmons, Grant, Mclean, Mercer, Oliver and Wells counties.

Stay tuned for details as a cold front moves through the area late tonight and early in the morning overnight (5/22).  Combining that cold air with the current warmer air can be a recipe for threatening weather for the area.

A severe thunderstorm watch mean the conditions are heavy rain, strong winds, dangerous lighting and tornado activity.
