While snow may not be hitting in Bismarck this weekend (little, if any), there may be significant snowfall hitting the eastern part of North Dakota.

Blizzard and storm watches have been issued by the National Weather Service for most of the eastern and southeastern parts of the state of North Dakota through Friday evening.

Based on forecasters' predictions for Fargo, they're looking at the possibilities of up to 10 inches of snow, along with windy conditions. Portions of the southern James River Valley have also issued a winter weather advisory. Wind gusts up to 55 mph are expected in these areas, with drifting snow as well.

If you're traveling this weekend, please take caution of these conditions.
