South All-Stars Beat Carson Wentz and the North All-Stars 27-16 in Reese’s Senior Bowl
NFL coaches and scouts descended upon Mobile, Alabama for the 2016 Reese's Senior Bowl on Saturday, January 30th, with many of them there to watch one player in particular: North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz.
Unfortunately, Wentz and the North All-Stars ended up on the losing end of the game, dropping the Senior Bowl 27-16 to the South All-Stars.
Wentz was one of the biggest names playing in the Senior Bowl this year, along with Ohio State quarterback-turned-wide receiver Braxton Miller and Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott.
Wentz didn't get a ton of snaps, though he was able to throw for 50 yards on 6-of-10 passing. He also rushed twice for eight yards.
The NFL Draft takes place April 28th through the 30th in Chicago.
