Tax Deadline This Week and North Dakota is Right in the Middle of the Best State for Taxes
Good thing you don't live in Alaska! For a number of reasons but as it related to this, Alaska is the state in the nation that pays the highest taxes! Where does The Peace Garden State rank?
WalletHub recently released a list of the best and the worst states to live in to be a taxpayer. North Dakota fared pretty darn well!
According to the survey, the worst states include-(no specific order)
Here's how WalletHub figured this daunting task-
"WalletHub analyzed how state and local tax rates compare to the national average in the 50 states as well as the District of Columbia. For example, we calculated relative income tax obligations by applying the average American’s income to the effective income taxes rate in each state and locality.
North Dakota came in at # 21. Minnesota came in at #33 and South Dakota ranked #16.
