This Weekend: BisMan Animals Need Your Help!

Overpopulation, abandonment, abuse: we've all heard the horror stories. Many of us are familiar with the name Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue because they play such a big role in helping rescue and home animals in the Bismarck-Mandan community.

While they do everything to help our animals, it's up to us to do everything to help them.

Family Fun Fundraiser

Tomorrow (Saturday, August 26th) from 4 to 10 pm Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue is putting on its 7th Annual WoofStock event.

While it's a really fun, family-friendly event with live music, food and craft vendors, balloon ninjas, a dunk tank, face painting, tie-dying, and more...it's also a great way to help out a local organization.

The Goal

One of the goals of the fundraiser is to help the organization with its mission: they would like to be able to go to low-income communities and spay and neuter pets for those who cannot afford it.

The funds raised also go to helping Furry Friends take care of the animals they have rescued (Veterinary services, food, and other essentials).

Things To Know

• The event will take place at Buckstop Junction from 4 to 10 pm August 26th.
• The Freedom Riders are giving away 10 bikes to kids who attend.
• You will be able to meet and greet adoptable animals.
• Music will be provided by Fuss & the Guns.
• There will be a silent auction, cash bar, and bake sale.
• The cost of admission is a free-will donation.
