Gas prices don't look near as high as last year's Fourth of July weekend.

According to the most recent report from GasBuddy.com, the current average retail price in North Dakota is roughly at $2.25 per gallon. This comes in lower than the national average, listed at $2.31 per gallon. The average price in North Dakota comes in at nearly 50 cents cheaper than last year at this time.

Senior Petroleum Analyst Gregg Laskoski has said the impact of Brexit is expected to see a downward trend in gas prices, despite the increasing demand.
