The University of Mary may not be the college football powerhouse that NDSU is, but they've still managed to get commitments from a few outstanding high school football players in the area.

Two Century High players have committed to play at UMary today: Linebacker Jared Barth and offensive lineman Zach Schell. Barth was an All-State second team selection in 2013, while Schell missed his entire senior season, due to injury.

They'll be joined by Bismarck High defensive lineman Zach Scalzo, who also committed to UMary today. Scalzo helped lead BHS to two state titles during his prep years.

Other commits from the state of North Dakota include lineback Austin Schmidt (Stanley) and defensive/tight end Tucker Wojahn (Velva).
