While offensive tackle Billy Turner was the only Bison player to get drafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, three other NDSU players signed contracts after the draft was complete on Saturday.

Quarterback Brock Jensen will join Turner in Miami as a member of the Dolphins. Jensen was a long shot to get drafted, as he was ranked as the 25th best quarterback in the draft. Jensen will compete for a backup spot in Miami, where Ryan Tannehill is the starter.

The other two players signing deals include defensive back Bryan Shepherd, who signed a deal with the Washington Redskins and cornerback Marcus Williams, who will head to Houston to join the Texans.

According to GoBison.com, the five players from the class of 2013 (Turner, Jensen, Shepherd, Williams, and Ryan Smith, who is in the CFL) is the most NDSU has sent to the pros since 2008.
