The world is a boiling cauldron of awful and it’s getting worse every single day, but at least the guy who plays Spider-Man can do an unassisted running flip without wires. At least we have that.

Dig that flip that Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far From Home star Tom Holland did last night at the end of his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which is recording this week from Brooklyn, New York. Brooklyn is not all that far from Peter Parker’s home in Queens, so he stopped by for a visit and a funny comedy bit, which you can watch above.

Holland remained firmly in character throughout the sketch, which saw his mask stolen by Jimmy’s trusty security-guard sidekick, Guillermo. Holland joked about how he was waiting for the bus when Guillermo yanked it (his Spidey Sense didn’t go off because it’s only for threats and Guillermo is no threat). Holland also showed off Spider-Man’s new costume for the upcoming Far From Home, which confirmed the set photos that showed it was a darker ensemble, with different gloves and hands (more blue, less red webby material). And as he ran off stage he pulled off that awesome flip.

Looks cool! After careful consideration, I think I might just see this movie! Spider-Man: Far From Home opens in theaters on July 5, 2019.
