Tupac Shakur may be remember for dividing the east and west coasts with his vicious lyrical attacks against Notorious B.I.G., but at one time, the late rapper wanted to unified both coasts. In unearthed handwritten letter, 2Pac discussed plans to drop a compilation album called ‘One Nation.’

Okayplayer posted 2Pac’s missive to his friend Big Lock, in which he was planning to record a posse song featuring OutKast, Buckshot, Smif-n-Wessun, Scarface and E-40 during the summer.

The Roots’ Questlove have confirmed that the letter is legit and added that the Illadelph crew were also contacted to appear on the project. Rapper Buckshot also seemed to confirm the validity of the letter on his Twitter account.

Meanwhile, British auction house Bonhams plans to to auction off on March 1 a series of handwritten letters from Tupac Shakur. Apparently, these letters were written around 1995 when the late rapper was incarcerated in New York.

In one missive to his friend Desiree Smith, he writes about his impending divorce from Keisha after 3 and 1/2 months of marriage.
