The University of North Dakota made a statement Friday afternoon (3/25), defeating Northeastern 6-2 in Cincinnati to move on to Saturday's regional final.

Northeastern actually got on the board first, with Nolan Stevens scoring a goal at 3:07 of the first period, but it was all UND after that.

All six UND goals were scored by six different players, including forward Johnny Simonson, who tied the game at one a piece at 5:43 of the first period.

The other goals for the Fighting Hawks were scored by Tucker Poolman, Luke Johnson, Bryn Chyzyk, Brock Boeser, and Drake Caggiula.

UND will face the University of Michigan Saturday, March 26th, at 5 p.m. for the right to play in the Frozen Four in Tampa. You can watch the game on ESPNU.
