Veterans Day Brings Free Meals for Veterans

To honor all veterans, multiple locations in Bismarck will offer them free meals this coming Thursday and Friday.

The Bismarck-Mandan Elk's Lodge will offer free meals for retired and active military, EMS, police officers, and firefighters on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are currently available at Comfort Inn & Suites, Schwan's GMC, any Wells Fargo Bank, Action Movers, Capital RV, and Northwest Contracting.

Then on Friday (Veterans Day),  VFW Post 1236 and its auxiliary sponsor free meals for veterans from 12:30 - 3 p.m. at the VFW Club, located at 1235 S. 12th St. in Bismarck. The meals will be served following a Veterans Day program held at the Heritage Center.
