High profile vehicles should use caution while traveling in open spaces such as  highways and interstates.

Communities are under the influence of a blizzard warning due to the snow that the area will receive tonight and the blowing winds tomorrow will definitely impact travel. The areas effect in the blizzard warning include Belcourt, Bottineau, Velva, Rugby, Jamestown, Harvey and Carrington.

Double check your winter survival kit and be sure to have protection for pets and livestock.

Be sure to secure objects around your property as strong gusty winds will blow unsecure objects.
