Carson Wentz may owe Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott some money after what Wentz said while mic'd up. "I'll give him my game check if he makes this," said Wentz.

Elliott proceeded to make the 61-yard field goal with no time remaining to defeat the division rival New York Giants, 27-24. The full audio from Wentz just before Elliott's kick was tweeted out by the Eagles in the clip below.

In case you're wondering, Wentz will make a base salary of $1.7 million this season. If you divide that by 16 regular season games, it comes out to an estimated $106,250. If an actual payout were to take place, that amount is also just less than 1/4 of Jake Elliott's one year, $465,000 contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The win put the Eagles at 2-1 on the season as they prepare to go on the road to face a winless Los Angeles Chargers team at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

UPDATE:

Early on Wednesday morning, Carson Wentz commented on Twitter regarding his claim that he would give his game check to kicker Jake Elliott.
