One of these things is not like the other. It seems every state has one area of it that does not seem to fit in with the rest of the state. Where is that place in North Dakota?

North Dakota is not one of the more popular vacation destinations. People's views of North Dakota come almost exclusively from the show Fargo. Generally people know North Dakota is really flat and there may not be as much excitement here as there is in some other areas.

One place stands out from all the rest though. Thrillist put together a list of the 'Black-Sheep Oddball Place in Each State.'

For North Dakota, that place is Medora. Medora with Theodore Roosevelt National Park is not nearly as flat as the rest of North Dakota. And although when you think musicals, you think New York and Broadway, Medora is of course very well known for its musical theater with the Medora Musical.

If you get dinner before the show at Pitchfork Steak Fondue, you get a breathtaking view of the Badlands as well.
