Every state has one, the most beautiful place within its own state boarders. Where do you think NoDak's most beautiful place is according to Thrillist.com?

North Dakota does have beautiful settings. I know you've witnessed some of the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises in the Bismarck-Mandan area. Fort Lincoln State Park on the Missouri River is a jewel. I've witnesses the sunsets there, and I realized how lucky I was to see such a beautiful sight. But, as beautiful as that is, it did not win the most beautiful award.

I think of the Peace Gardens at the Canadian Boarder. How awesome is that!! We have Medoria, how could that place not find a place in your heart? But again, those places did not earn the top spot. We're close though.

According to Thrillist, the most beautiful spot in North Dakota is The Painted Canyons Visitors Center at Theodore Roosevelt's Visitor Center.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Today, the visitor center overlooks North Dakota’s Painted Canyon and the rest of the North Dakota badlands, and the view is almost as insane as TR was ordering that attack in Cuba.

If you want to take advantage of the lowest gas prices in over 11 years, take a road trip this holiday weekend to the Badlands, and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It'll be a day trip well worth the time, again! ( we know you've been there before)
