WI Brothers Both Become Fathers and Uncles on the Same Day

Brothers Chris and Matt Hicks of Kenosha, Wisconsin, became fathers just hours apart on Friday (Dec 4).

Older brother Chris and his wife Courtney arrived at Aurora Medical Center for a scheduled cesarean section, and were greeted with the news that younger brother Matt and fiancee Allie Osheim had been admitted earlier that day as Allie labored with their baby.

The newborns had had due dates just a week apart, but that gap shrunk to mere hours in the end.

Chris and Courtney's baby girl Kadence arrived in the world first, soon followed by her cousin, Matt and Allie's son James.

The two young families occupied rooms right next to each other in the neonatal unit, and the bundles of joy were even delivered by the same doctor.
