Wind Advisory For Bismarck and Cold Winter Temperatures In Our Future
Very windy and cold temperatures are expected in our future for the Bismarck and Mandan area.
First, as a system moved through the area, a WIND ADVISORY will go into effect at 9 AM today (Wednesday 11/5). A clipper system will then quickly move across North Dakota and with it, strong northwest winds are expected to develop with speeds of 25 to 35 mph, with gusts to 45 mph possible.
Then as the new week begins Monday, our overnight temperatures will drop down to the lower teens. There is a slight chance of snow for our area as we move into the new week. The average daytime high this time of year is 45 degrees.
