Former Burleigh County Sheriff Deputy Arrested for DUI

A former Burleigh County Sheriff Deputy and current school resource officer was arrested over New Year's weekend for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Weston Christianson, 38, was arrested Friday about 2 a.m. and was a school the resource officer in Fargo at Liberty Middle School. Christianson was hired by West Fargo department in 2013 and started working at the school in January of 2015.

The Cass County Sheriff's office is conducting the criminal investigation while the West Fargo police are conducting a separate investigation.
