Sanford Expands to Meet Williston’s Growing Health Care Needs

"We are excited to offer more services to Williston and the surrounding communities," said Fred Fridley, chief operating officer of Sanford Bismarck. "By expanding our services, we are able to meet the increasing demand for care in Williston and ensure the community receives the support they need to live healthier lives."

Key Additions to the 11th & Gate Clinic

The Sanford 11th & Gate Clinic, located at 1700 11th St. W., already includes four full-time OB/GYN providers. Now, the clinic is welcoming a new lineup of specialists:

  • Behavioral Health: Debra Lukenbill, CNS, brings decades of experience in adolescent behavioral health and medication management, continuing her long-standing commitment to the Williston community.

  • Cardiology: Dr. Lovely Chhabra, a specialist in general cardiology and cardiac catheterization, will travel from Bismarck to Williston monthly on the second Tuesday.

  • Diabetes Education: Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists Lara Packard and Karen Liepke are offering expert support for diabetes management and education.

  • Maternal Fetal Medicine: High-risk pregnancy consultations are currently being conducted virtually, with plans for in-person care on the horizon.

  • Pediatrics: Starting May 20, Dr. NDU David Ugobi will visit Williston from Minot on the third Tuesday of every month, treating patients from infancy through adolescence.

  • Sports Medicine: Also beginning May 20, Dr. JoLynn Azure will work closely with local schools to manage sports-related injuries and support athlete recovery. Additional orthopedic outreach is planned for the near future.
