Sunny made her grand debut at 6:17 p.m. on January 1, 2025, weighing a sweet 5 pounds, 12 ounces. Proud parents Mackenzie and Forrest Brandt of Watford City, ND, couldn’t be happier. “She is absolutely perfect!” Mackenzie shared with a smile.

Sunny already has a fan club at home, led by her very excited big brother, 3-year-old Cash, who can’t wait to dote on his new little sister.

Mackenzie had glowing words for the care she received, calling her team “so great” and praising Dr. Shafer and the staff for making her feel supported and even bringing fun into the experience. “I delivered my son here too, and it was just as amazing!” she added.
