It's one of the most famous vehicles in the world, and it will be making some stops in Minnesota over the next week or so.

The world-famous Wienermobile made its debut in 1936 as the brainchild of Oscar Mayer's nephew, Carl, today there are a fleet of six Wienermobiles that travel around the country with their brand ambassadors called "Hotdoggers".

The Wienermobile will make its way to Minnesota for appearances in the Twin Cities area starting on Saturday, July 27th with an appearance at the Minnesota Transportation Museum in St. Paul, followed by stops at two Cub Foods stores on the 28th and 29th.

After a few days in the Twin Cities area, the Wienermobile will make its way up north for stops a several Super One Foods locations around the Northland. The first stop will be at the Miller Hill Mall location on Thursday, August 1st from 10 AM until Noon, it will then make its way to the Cloquet location from 1 PM until 3 PM.

The hot dog shaped vehicle will continue with stops at the North Virginia store on August 2nd from 10 AM - 3 PM, on Saturday, August 3rd the Wienermobile will make stops at the Hibbing and South Grand Rapids locations, and wrap up its Minnesota tour on Sunday, August 4th at the Walker store from 10 AM - 4 PM.

The Wienermobile and the "Hotdoggers" usually travel with plenty of free stuff to give away, including the famous Wienermobile whistle. It looks like it has been a few years since the Wienermobile made a stop in the Twin Ports, so take advantage of this opportunity if you have the time.
