I love that two-word phrase "Guilty Pleasure"

Let's break that down a bit - unless you are breaking the law and or doing something stupid like trying to hang glide off the Capitol building - "Guilty Pleasure" should not be something you hide or are ashamed of doing. So what do the EXPERTS say?

You may have your own opinion of what YOU think "Guilty Pleasure" means to you

Here is what dictionary.com says "Guilty Pleasure" is

"an activity, habit, food, etc., that a person feels shame or guilt for enjoying, often because they feel they will be judged by others:

TV shows meant for teens are a guilty pleasure many adults just can't get enough of.

Eating healthfully is important, but treating yourself to a guilty pleasure from time to time is definitely not a crime"

I asked several co-workers today what their "Guilty Pleasure" is - "Eating Ice Cream" was one such answer. I keep bugging people by asking "Why do you feel guilty doing that or doing this?"  I was intrigued.

The only way I could relate to "Guilty Pleasure" ...

...it would be IF I called in sick and then went to see a movie instead. I would of course feel "Guilty" the whole time trying to enjoy "Pleasure" at the movies. So check this out - data from Inspired Taste’s new study outlining Americans’ secret food confessions listed all the States and their "Guilty Pleasures" - I don't know if I believe in this, but they found "The most popular guilty pleasure food combo in North Dakota is Mac and Cheese with Ketchup--one of only 3 states with this favorite combo!"

Really?

I've never heard that or seen that, and I have been out here in ND for over 10 years - so what is your "Guilty Pleasure"...?
