Lincoln, North Dakota’s Thunder Strip Mall Has A New Tennant
Lincoln, North Dakota, one of North Dakota's fastest growing communities has a new business.
The man responsible for so much of Lincoln's growth, Lance Hagen, first made me aware of a new strip mall right off Lincoln Road back in November of 2022.
The one knock on the city of Lincoln is the lack of infrastructure and certain amenities. Hagen has been working on changing that with the addition of the "Thunder Strip Mall" to go with the already occupied "Lightning Strip Mall" which is close by.
The "Lightning Strip Mall" is occupied by Lightning Fitness, Hometown Credit Union, and Wild One Daycare.
We now know who will be the very first tenant in the newly completed Thunder strip mall.
Rivers Liquor is set to open soon. I spoke to the owner Sam Hay, and he told me that he and his wife are excited to support and be a part of the Lincoln community. Barring any unforeseen delays, they hope to open Rivers Liquor on the weekend of the 16th of November.
The hours of operation for Rivers Liquor in Lincoln, North Dakota will be as follows:
Sunday to Thursday from 10 am to 10 pm.
Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 11 pm.
Lance Hagen who owns a lot of land in the Lincoln area. He's been responsible for many projects over the years including the addition of Dollar General to Lincoln.
The Thunder Strip Mall is a 9,000-foot strip mall that is just west of the church on Lincoln Road. The strip mall has 5 lease spaces but that configuration could change depending again on the tenants.
In a recent article that I wrote about businesses that the city of Lincoln, North Dakota needs, a liquor store was one of the types of businesses mentioned. It finished just outside the Top 12. You can read all about that here.
I joked with Lance about Lincoln finally getting a car wash in Lincoln. That is on my wish list, and he told me he's working on it. I wonder if I can talk Lance into a "Hooters"? Maybe a Hooters car wash???
