Time is running out to enjoy the summer at one of Bismarck-Mandan's many outdoor pools.

The river provided plenty of opportunities to have a sense of normalcy and every time I drove by Raging Rivers Water Park, there were plenty of kids enjoying themselves.

Raging Rivers Water Park in Mandan has a couple of water slides and a lazy river and that's all fine and dandy.

The end of the school year is right around the corner which means it won't be long before the kids are begging to go to the pool. So when does our Bismarck-Mandan pools open this summer?

Raging Rivers Water Park is open for the season after spending most of the winter receiving almost $1 Million in upgrades and refurbishments to the park.

In a press release earlier today, Mandan Parks and Recreation announced that Raging Rivers will close for the season on August 28th.
