We're used to Rihanna going topless all over Instagram, but her sheer Chanel shirtdress, worn to the house's show during Paris Fashion Week, was the equivalent of her online photo exploits. In other words, despite the classy label, it was a tad too tacky and trashy, two "T" words that you don't want associated with you during the fashion industry's biggest time of the year.

Rihanna wore a sheer cream shirtdress that buttoned in the front and plunged, showing off her underboob tattoo. It also had a maj slit, which made it an accident waiting to happen. And of course we had headlights on high-beam.

This outfit is perfectly acceptable for a Rihanna shopping excursion, a night at the club or onstage -- but not for Fashion Week.

It's as though she anticipated a wardrobe malfunction and loaded up on pearls to cover her rack in case of a nip slip. Now that's what we call "prepared."

The Chanel dress had a low taste level to begin with, so it's admittedly not all RiRi's fault. It's very housefrau'ish. Actually, it's more of a beach coverup, which is not really something you wear to a Paris fashion show.

The dress was designed by Karl Lagerfeld, the often sour-faced director of the brand, with whom she posed here. On the upside? She does have a lovely smile and we're feeling the auburn-kissed locks.
