2nd Show Added For WIllie Nelson Coming To Minn/ND Area

Alan Jackson played probably his last show ever in North Dakota last summer at the Alerus Center. We got a lot of our listeners to the show for free and one last experience with a legend.

Another longtime country legend is coming to the region and this could very well be his last concert in our neck of the woods.

I'm talking about country music legend Willie Nelson.

The show is being billed as a night with Willie Nelson and Family. Monday, May 22nd at the Bluestem Amphitheater in Moorhead, Minnesota. That was the original show date. Tickets went on sale this morning at 10 am and they sold out in record time.

Now, officials are announcing that a 2nd show has been added for the following day on Tuesday, May 23rd at the Bluestem Amphitheater. If you have never seen a concert at this venue before believe me, you are missing out.

The Bluestem Amphitheater is nestled alongside the Red River of North on the Moorhead, Minnesota side of the river.

Willie Nelson is not getting any younger. He was born on April 29th, 1933. He's almost 90 years old. However, music is still in his soul. He even has a new album right now titled "The Willie Nelson Family."
