This isn't a misprint. It's exactly like it sounds. There is a moose running around aimlessly in south Bismarck.

At approximately 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, a young bull moose was seen roaming around downtown Bismarck. According to the Bismarck Tribune, sightings occurred near J.C. Penney at the Kirkwood Mall, CHI St. Alexius Health Hospital, and the McDonald's off East Main Avenue, before heading towards the Capitol grounds.

A second moose was also spotted Tuesday near 26th Street and East Rosser Avenue. There have been no further sightings of the second moose since.

Authorities say the moose will flee the area when it's comfortable, and to just leave it be. However, should there be a safety concern, authorities say to contact the Bismarck Police Department at 255-1212 or ND Game and Fish at 328-6300.
