An Allegiant flight headed for Las Vegas from Bismarck made an unscheduled stop in Utah Monday, September 7th, after pilots encountered a 'maintenance issue.'

The flight touched down at St. George Regional Airport in southern Utah Monday night after crew members reported a faulty fuel gauge, according to FOX Business.

There were 141 passengers on board the Las Vegas-bound flight, along with six crew members. The airport in Utah was able to get approximately 35 passengers to Las Vegas via a shuttle bus, while the others waited for another flight.

This is not the first time an Allegiant flight with North Dakota ties has had problems. Back in July, an Allegiant flight returning to Fargo from Las Vegas departed one hour late, causing major issues at Fargo's Hector International Airport, which had been closed for an airshow.

The passengers on the Bismarck flight were offered a $100 voucher to use towards future travel.
