Anand Indian Cuisine just opened August 23rd near West Acres in Fargo. This marks the second restaurant operated by the Kaur family, as they also run House of Punjab in Grand Forks. House of Punjab opened in 2021 and is still being operated by the family today. Now, the family is expanding to Fargo, bringing more family into the business and more delicious Indian cuisine to North Dakotans.

Where Is Anand Indian Cuisine?

The restaurant now occupies the former Himalayan Yak building at 1109 38th St S. For the time being the building still has the old sign on the outside of the building, but Inforum reports the family has spent the last two months renovating the interior space.

Fun Fact: The name Anand" comes from the Punjabi word that means peace and bliss.

What's on Anand's Menu?

According to the source, there will be a dozen varieties of fresh tandoor, baked naan, and desserts like kulfi and kheer. They also offer a rotating buffet at $22 per plate that includes an appetizer, five entrees, rice, sides, dessert, and naan.

The restaurant is open daily from 11am to 9pm.
