For the first time, the ninth annual Apple Dash will be held at Papa's Pumpkin Patch as a full-fledged obstacle course.

As previously reported, Papa's Pumpkin Patch opens September 11th. Now an obstacle course, designed by community partners including JLG Architects, the North Dakota National Guard and Big Muddy CrossFit, will run as long as a football field and include ropes, tunnels and hoops.

The adjustments have helped make the obstacle course fun for all ages. The course is meant to inspire fitness within the community. It will require climbing, sprinting, hanging , and pushing. The activities required throughout the obstacle course are split into three sections: kids, youth and adults, with age- and size-appropriate components.

All proceeds from the Apple Dash event will go toward grants for teachers in the Bismarck Public School District.
