An apartment in the Norma building, located on N. 3rd St. in downtown Bismarck, caught fire Wednesday morning, forcing the evacuation of surrounding businesses.

According to the Bismarck Tribune, no one was injured in the blaze, though the building did suffer damage.

All the buildings surrounding the Norma, including JL Beers, were evacuated.

The Red Cross was on hand to offer assistance to anyone displaced by the fire. The hope is that the residents will be able to return to the building on Thursday, once clean-up has finished.

No cause for the fire has been determined.
