It's the thirteenth this coming Friday. I love anything creepy, and superstition falls under that category. I, personally, am not superstitious, but I love useless knowledge.

Here are some fun facts about Friday the 13th, a day of superstition:

• Do you know how you can tell if a month has a Friday the 13th? Simple. If the first day of the month lands on a Sunday, the thirteenth day will land on Friday.
• There is a name for the fear of Friday the 13th. Well, two (basically unpronounceable) names for the fear of the day - Friggatriskaidekaphobia and Paraskevidekatriaphobia. Get the story behind those two words here.
• According to timeanddate.com, this fear affects millions of people, and businesses (especially airlines) even suffer severe losses on Friday the 13th.
• Have you ever been to a hotel and noticed there's not a thirteenth floor? I have. Due to superstition, it's common for many high-rise buildings, hotels, and hospitals to skip the thirteenth floor.
• We do have another Friday the 13th in 2020 - November 13th is a Friday this year. So, if you're superstitious, you can prepare now for an unlucky Friday in November.
