Ariana Grande Benefit Concert to Feature Miley Cyrus, Pharrell + More
UPDATE: Ariana Grande's impending concert to benefit the victims of the Manchester terror attack will reportedly be star-studded with some of music's biggest acts.
TMZ reports that artists including Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Pharrell and Take That will join Grande onstage for a charity concert at the Old Trafford in Manchester, the same venue Beyonce performed at back in July.
The tabloid reports that "as many as 10 acts will take the stage."
On May 30, the pop star confirmed that her One Love Manchester show will take place Sunday, June 4. All proceeds from the event will go to the victims and their families.
ORIGINAL STORY (MAY 28): She's safe and sound at home in Florida right now, but Ariana Grande may be returning to Manchester sooner rather than later.
On May 26, Grande broke her silence following the May 22 attack on her concert at the Manchester Arena and released a statement on Twitter, promising to return to the English city to host and perform at a benefit concert to raise funds for the victims.
According to TMZ, Grande will headline the benefit concert on Sunday, June 4, with her manager, Scooter Braun, currently booking "some of the biggest names in music" to join her onstage.
Neither Grande nor Braun have confirmed the reports thus far.
Though her Dangerous Woman Tour has been suspended in the aftermath of the terror attack, which took the lives of 22 people and injured countless others, the pop star acknowledged her plans to stay present for her fans and those affected by the tragedy in the statement she issued on Friday.
"I don’t want to go the rest of the year without being able to see and hold and uplift my fans, the same way they continue to uplift me," she wrote. "Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before."
