We all know that the Starbucks that was once on South 3rd St in Bismarck moved to a new location, in the old Pier One Imports building on Washington. It wasn't a far move, but a much-needed one, as many people in town complained about how the line would back up in the third street location and overflow into the roads, causing much chaos in the morning.

Yes, that old Starbucks has been sitting empty for some time, and many of us have been wondering if another business will eventually take over the space. Well, it looks like that day has finally come.

According to an email we received earlier this morning and a post on Bismarck's People Reporting News, a new business will soon be opening in that location.

Look out for Uni Uni Boba, a Chicago-founded, Asian-inspired boba cafe. If you're not familiar with boba tea, allow me to help paint the picture. We used to have one of these kinds of cafes in my hometown, called QQ Bubble Tea. It was a place many college kids would go after or between classes. It was a fun little hangout for all of us in town.

A Boba tea is a tea-based drink with chewy tapioca pearls, also known as "boba." There are many different flavors you can choose from, and you can add different fruit flavors, milk, and toppings. It's a fun, customizable little drink you have to try at least once.

This will be the first Uni Uni Boba location in North Dakota, and it will be opening its doors sooner than you might think. The owners told us they will officially open for business on Friday, November 28th. They will be celebrating with free gifts and giveaways.
