Golfers and hockey fans take note: the Bismarck Bobcats will hold their first ever Meet the Bobcats Golf Shootout on Wednesday, September 16th, at the Tom O'Leary golf course in Bismarck.

Bobcats owner Thom Brigl had the following to say about the new golf tournament, according to BismarckBobcats.com:

Our ‘Shootout’ is a great opportunity for local golfers, businesspeople and sponsors to have a great day on the course. The day promises to be great fun as we welcome players from literally all over the world and have a little food and beverages with friends of hockey and figure skating in the area.

Proceeds from the event will help the Bobcats reach their goal of $100,000, which will be used to renovate the Schaumberg Ice Arena.

The entry fee for the Meet the Bobcats Golf Shootout is $100 per golfer, which includes golf, use of a cart, and a catered dinner. There will also be an awards ceremony following the tournament.
