This story I came across yesterday reminds me of an old cartoon I came across years ago. Remember Mad magazine? There was just a couple of frames involved, the first one showed a guy at a restaurant leaving a penny as a tip, the last frame shows the waiter picking it up in excitement screaming out "Wow a 1932 penny, this is worth over a billion dollars". I could be wrong on the actual date of the coin, it was so long ago, but it made me stop and think - some people are avid coin collectors, and who knows WHEN or IF they will ever come across a situation like that.

According to KFYRTV Just recently the Bismarck Capital City Coin Club had its first coin show since last spring (due to the pandemic). Yet another small step towards normalcy. This event was a real treat for the "true blue" collectors -“It’s just totally refreshing for us to be back in business and have the American public coming out and supporting us the way they do"  said Larry Schneider the organizer and founding member. “It’s just totally refreshing for us to be back in business and have the American public coming out and supporting us the way they do"

Some people came as far away as 300 miles to see the show. Here is the cool part, all ages were present - the experienced and the young rookies. They all share the excitement of finding that one rare precious coin (that could be in your pocket right now).
