The Bismarck Capitals are fastly becoming superstars that have captured all of our hearts. These 15-year old baseball players fell behind in their own backyard in the Midwest Plains Regional Tournament - they were just 2 outs away from being eliminated completely until the magic happened.

After that amazing win came a stunning no-hit performance over Southeast Tropics, Missouri by Capitals Michael Fagerland opened the door to the Babe Ruth World Series in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Before the team could continue on with their dream season, money became an issue - it's not cheap to take the Capitals and their family members almost 1,500 miles away to the World Series. Babe Ruth World Series begins - "Play Ball"
The Caps came out for their first game yesterday and found themselves taking on the home team - Eagle Pass, Texas. The crowd cheered on their local guys to an early lead until once again, Bismarck showed their poise by battling back from behind and going on to win 12-7. Game one out of the way! They play again tomorrow against Tri-Valley, California. There are ten teams total from all around the country - eventually, there will be only two left - to play for the honor of being THE best Babe Ruth team in the country. The Capitals coaches Skyler Strand and Nick Hinsz have done an amazing job of teaching the young men teamwork and mental strength - but most of all, they are perfect role models to pattern their lives by - that's what baseball and life are all about.
