Bismarck Man Booked for Accidentally Shooting His Six-Month Old Daughter

A Bismarck man was in custody for accidentally shooting his 6-month old daughter.

Bismarck Police were called to a house on the east side of Bismarck after a father accidentally shot his 6-month old daughter in the upper body, while trying to clear the rounds out of his gun. His daughter was on the floor about 4-5 feet away when the gun accidentally went of and struck his little girl.

The baby was rushed to the hospital and is in stable condition.

The incident happened Sunday afternoon.
