We hear about "stupid criminals" just about every day here in the media.  Most of time, they seem to come from the state of Florida.  Not sure what's in the water down there, but it sure seems to breed a certain kind of dumb.

Well low and behold, we have a very "intelligent challenged" individual right here in Bismarck, North Dakota.  I know your supposed to give everybody the courtesy of "innocent until proven guilty", however, it's tough not to form some conclusions after the seeing the shirt this guy was wearing this past Friday night, the evening he was busted.  Torres-Maldonado was wearing a t-shirt with Pinocchio with a rather large nose, and the phrase "It Wasn't Me" above it.  Somebody cue the singer Shaggy up.  You can't make this stuff up.  What are the odds?

According to the Smoking Gun, Clifford Torres-Maldonado, 34 was arrested on Friday night on a bench warrant charging him with failure to appear in court this month in a methamphetamine possession case.

Tores-Maldonado pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor drug charge.  He was arrested last year following a routine traffic stop near his Bismarck home.  According to the police report from the Bismarck Police Department, a police officer found a small baggie of meth stuck inside a cigarette container belonging to Torres-Maldonado.

According to the article, Torres-Maldonado, who was free on a bond following his November 2020 arrest, pleaded guilty last year in a separate case to possession of meth and marijuana, child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He ended up with 18 months probation and ordered to complete a "parenting/nurturing class."

It appears he made bail, because he's currently not in a Bismarck jail.  Can't wait to see an encore t-shirt.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
