Bismarck Man Suffers Serious Injuries Following Crash on I-94
A Bismarck man suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries following a crash on I-94 near Jamestown.
According to a press release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, James Mulfinger, a 69 year old man from Bismarck, was traveling in a Ford F-150 eastbound on I-94 when the truck ultimately lost control and crossed the median into an oncoming car.
The oncoming car, a Honda Civic, had two passengers from Mandan. Jason Siebert 42 was driving with a 16 year old in the car. Police released the name of the 16 year old but we are choosing to withhold the minor's name.
The two passengers in the Honda Civic fortunately only suffered minor injuries.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that at the time of the crash there was ice on the road along with snow and blowing snow.
The crash occurred just after 5 p.m. on Tuesday evening (Jan. 2).
